Bring a splash of pure forest serenity, sun-drenched pastoral romance, and cozy storybook optimism to your workspace or vehicle to instantly melt away the daily burnout. Meet the Hanging Lion Ornament, your personal ambassador for slow-living mindfulness, active lifestyle aesthetics, and soft cottagecore comfort. Hand-sculpted from 100% pure natural wool, this highly soothing art piece beautifully captures a dapper, gentle little lion cub frozen in a peaceful daze. It features a signature light golden-yellow plush body standing proudly in a four-legged posture, framed by a magnificent, fluffy dark brown hand-needle-felted mane, completed by a dapper lion tail with a custom tuft behind.

Thanks to its minimalist design with an integrated hanging cord, this narrative-rich companion effortlessly adapts to your lifestyle. Whether suspended from your vehicle's rearview mirror, hanging inside a modern nursery, or nestled safely as a freestanding pet on your office desk, its warm, authentic wool texture delivers the ultimate silent comfort. It makes a heartwarming holiday keepsake or housewarming gift for a coworker or friend who appreciates cozy dapper aesthetics. Please note that this is a highly delicate decorative art piece for collectors, not a child's toy.

  • Identity: Wilderness Joy Guardian / Ambassador of Slow Living / Multipurpose Serenity Mascot
  • Material: 100% Natural Wool Felt Body + Hanging Cord. Entirely free from any knitted or plastic components (the shaggy mane, limbs, and tail are completely hand-felted wool). Delivered in eco-friendly packaging.
  • Dimensions: Lion body height approx. 8 cm (3.1 inches). Perfectly sleek, bold, and compact for professional display setups or flat-lay props.
  • Design Details: Features an expressive yellow lion character with a 3D dark brown mane frame, an attached functional hanging line, finished with a tailored upright tail with a matching tuft.

Handmade details & custom requests
What is the display stand that may come with my figurine?
Step-by-step guide for using the wooden display stand included with some OakenArk figurines

Some figurines may include a small wooden display stand to help them stand securely. Not every figurine requires one, so a stand may not be included with every order. If your order includes one, please follow the guide above.

Are OakenArk felt figurines toys?

OakenArk felt figurines are decorative keepsakes and collectibles, not toys. Adults can use them to decorate a nursery or child’s room, and they can make thoughtful baby shower keepsakes for parents. Some designs may contain small accessories, internal supports, hanging cords or delicate details. An adult should arrange and secure each display outside cribs, bassinets, play yards and changing surfaces, and out of reach of babies and young children. These figurines are not intended for play, teething, sleep or sensory activities.

Can I customize colors or add special accessories?

Many existing OakenArk characters can be customized with selected colors, clothing details, expressions, flowers, name tags, or small accessories.

If a requested change is important to your purchase, please contact us before ordering. Order notes may be used for simple requests, but they are not guaranteed unless confirmed by OakenArk.

Availability depends on the design, materials, production schedule, and technical feasibility. Additional fees or production time may apply.

Can I request a completely custom design based on my own idea?

Yes, we consider selected custom commissions based on personal ideas, meaningful stories, special occasions, or reference photographs that you own or have permission to use.

Email support@oakenark.com with your idea, preferred size, colors, expression, key details, reference images, and any important date.

We cannot reproduce another independent artist's design or create an unauthorized copy of a protected commercial character. We also do not accept customer-supplied pet fur, human hair, feathers, ashes, or other biological materials.

After reviewing your request, we will confirm feasibility, pricing, and an estimated production schedule.

Will I receive a preview photo before my order ships?

Preview photographs may be available for eligible custom or highly personalized orders when agreed before production.

Standard made-to-order products do not automatically include a preview. If a preview is important to you, please contact us before ordering.

A preview is intended to confirm the overall design and agreed details. Significant changes requested after approval may require additional production time and fees.

Why doesn’t my piece look exactly identical to the product photos?

Every OakenArk piece is individually handmade, so small variations in expression, proportions, wool texture, color placement, and detail positioning are natural.

These differences are not considered defects when the piece substantially matches the selected design, description, dimensions, and overall appearance. They are part of the individual character of handmade work.

How do I know these pieces are authentically handmade rather than mass-produced?

We believe trust is built through transparency. OakenArk regularly shares work-in-progress photos, needle-felting details, studio snapshots, and finished pieces photographed in everyday settings on Reddit and our social channels.

Each piece is individually shaped, needle-felted, detailed, and finished by hand. Small differences in expression, proportions, wool texture, and detail placement are therefore natural.

You can also view customer photos and unboxing posts to see how our creations look outside a studio setting. Authentic OakenArk pieces are available through oakenark.com and our Etsy shop, OakenArkFelt.

Are your designs original? I saw similar items on other websites.

OakenArk develops its own character concepts, samples, styling, written content, and product photography.

Animal subjects, seasonal themes, and traditional needle-felting techniques naturally appear across the wider handmade community, but our original photographs, written content, distinctive character details, and product presentation may not be copied or reused without permission.

Our official sales channels include oakenark.com and OakenArkFelt on Etsy. If you are unsure about another listing, send the link or a screenshot to support@oakenark.com.
