A long red-and-green striped scarf wraps around its slender neck, with a fringed end hanging down the front. It looks like the first one in the family to put on its Christmas clothes.

Individually needle felted by hand from natural wool, this alpaca makes a personal Christmas gift for an alpaca lover or that friend who starts decorating before everyone else. What is the display stand that may come with my figurine?

Some figurines may include a small wooden display stand to help them stand securely. Not every figurine requires one, so a stand may not be included with every order. If your order includes one, please follow the guide above.

Are OakenArk felt figurines toys?

Unless an individual product page expressly states otherwise, OakenArk felt figurines are designed as decorative keepsakes and collectibles, not as ordinary children's toys.

Some designs may contain internal supports, small accessories, beads, bells, buttons, hanging cords, or delicate details.

In nurseries or children's rooms, display them securely outside cribs, bassinets, play yards, changing surfaces, and the reach of babies and young children. Do not use decorative figurines as toys, teethers, sleep items, or sensory-play objects unless the specific product expressly states that it is intended for that use.

Can I customize colors or add special accessories?

Many existing OakenArk characters can be customized with selected colors, clothing details, expressions, flowers, name tags, or small accessories.

If a requested change is important to your purchase, please contact us before ordering. Order notes may be used for simple requests, but they are not guaranteed unless confirmed by OakenArk.

Availability depends on the design, materials, production schedule, and technical feasibility. Additional fees or production time may apply.

Can I request a completely custom design based on my own idea?

Yes, we consider selected custom commissions based on personal ideas, meaningful stories, special occasions, or reference photographs that you own or have permission to use.

Email support@oakenark.com with your idea, preferred size, colors, expression, key details, reference images, and any important date.

We cannot reproduce another independent artist's design or create an unauthorized copy of a protected commercial character. We also do not accept customer-supplied pet fur, human hair, feathers, ashes, or other biological materials.

After reviewing your request, we will confirm feasibility, pricing, and an estimated production schedule.

Will I receive a preview photo before my order ships?

Preview photographs may be available for eligible custom or highly personalized orders when agreed before production.

Standard made-to-order products do not automatically include a preview. If a preview is important to you, please contact us before ordering.

A preview is intended to confirm the overall design and agreed details. Significant changes requested after approval may require additional production time and fees.

Why doesn’t my piece look exactly identical to the product photos?

Every OakenArk piece is individually handmade, so small variations in expression, proportions, wool texture, color placement, and detail positioning are natural.

These differences are not considered defects when the piece substantially matches the selected design, description, dimensions, and overall appearance. They are part of the individual character of handmade work.

How do I know these pieces are authentically handmade rather than mass-produced?

We believe trust is built through transparency. OakenArk regularly shares work-in-progress photos, needle-felting details, studio snapshots, and finished pieces photographed in everyday settings on Reddit and our social channels.

Each piece is individually shaped, needle-felted, detailed, and finished by hand. Small differences in expression, proportions, wool texture, and detail placement are therefore natural.

Are your designs original? I saw similar items on other websites.

OakenArk develops its own character concepts, samples, styling, written content, and product photography.

Animal subjects, seasonal themes, and traditional needle-felting techniques naturally appear across the wider handmade community, but our original photographs, written content, distinctive character details, and product presentation may not be copied or reused without permission.
